Blackmagic, true to their word has shipped the HD version of the Studio Camera!
We’ve already opened one up and started to check it out.
First thoughts:
- The screen is amazing! Not a touch screen however.
- MFT mount is active and Autofocus is improved over the BMPCC.
- Lack of B4 ENG Mount is a big oversight.
This camera is perfect of setting up a streaming environment, whether it be in a Church, conference room or a studio.
We’ll be testing it with Blackmagic’s Studio Converter and ATEM Switchers soon. Stay tuned for updates.
