Greatest Hits of Steve Jobs, Part 57

This one is from January 2001, and features the introduction of the
PowerBook G4. While it seems quaint now, at the time it was a mind-blowing
announcement.

It's a trip down memory lane, and to see the Steve Jobs Reality Distortion
Field in full effect.

Best Quotes of Steve Jobs

With the not-unexpected resignation of Steve Jobs as Apple CEO this week,
the Wall Street Journal complied a terrific collection of Steve Jobs quotes.

It's a rather long list, but breathtaking in many of its predictions.

I've always felt that Steve Jobs was the visionary, Bill Gates the toady,
and these quotes fulfill that. Jobs could always see 3 pieces ahead on the
chess board, Gates was always 1 piece behind. For example, he was predicting
"The most compelling reason for most people to buy a computer for the home
will be to link it to a nationwide communications network. We're just in the
beginning stages of what will be a truly remarkable breakthrough for most
people - as remarkable as the telephone." This was in 1985.
