In an effort to compare the image quality between different levels of camcorders Sean and DV Dude setup the most advanced testing rig ever (at least in DV Shop 2). Using a Panasonic Broadcast grade LCD, X-Rite Color Chart and a Spyder LensCal focus testing chart we checked to see what each camera is capable of outputting over HDMI.
