Malibu in Black-and-White

More pictures from DV Dude's trip to Los Angeles in January 2014. He spent a day in Malibu. Caught the sunrise at the Malibu Pier.

The Malibu Pier was originally built for the Rindge family, who owned all of Malibu and surrounding area until 1929. They used it for their family yacht. Must have been some yacht.

Griffith Observatory, Los Angeles Shot on the Nikon D610

DV Dude had the pleasure of watching the sunrise at Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles in January. Here are some of the pictures he took over two mornings.

The Griffith is located high up in the Hollywood Hills, and offers a commanding view of Los Angeles, Hollywood, and the Pacific Ocean.

The Griffith Observatory was built in the 1930s, and is a great example of Art Deco styling.

"What I Did In Canada"

)

Canada, during one of the coldest winters in recent memory, as seen through the eyes of a British tourist. Priceless.
