Malibu in Black-and-White
More pictures from DV Dude's trip to Los Angeles in January 2014. He spent a day in Malibu. Caught the sunrise at the Malibu Pier.
The Malibu Pier was originally built for the Rindge family, who owned all of Malibu and surrounding area until 1929. They used it for their family yacht. Must have been some yacht.

Griffith Observatory, Los Angeles Shot on the Nikon D610
DV Dude had the pleasure of watching the sunrise at Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles in January. Here are some of the pictures he took over two mornings.
The Griffith is located high up in the Hollywood Hills, and offers a commanding view of Los Angeles, Hollywood, and the Pacific Ocean.
The Griffith Observatory was built in the 1930s, and is a great example of Art Deco styling.

Sunset, Malibu Edition
Sunrise, Los Angeles Edition
And we have an L.A. sunrise.
DV Dude strongly recommends a trip up to Griffith Park if you ever visit L.A. Up in the Hollywood Hills, it overlooks the city with stunning views.
And yes, DV Dude feels your pain Toronto. He couldn't have planned a better week to be away. But he is suffering as well - with temperatures of 25 degrees Celius, he has to run the air conditioning in the car, and take his coat off, and just wear a T-Shirt. Oh, the suffering.
