Those smarty-pants at Japan's NHK had their 8K booth again this year at NAB. NHK is always about 10 years ahead of everyone else, so this is more a preview of where we'll be going once we find 4K boring. And yes, the detail in the image is absolutely mind-blowing. No photo can do it justice.
While the booth was not much different from last year, what was new this year was the 8K Cube camera. Much smaller than last year's monstrosities that were the size of a 1976 Buick Roadmaster.
